Our Story
Created to celebrate the heart and soul of Pine Hills.
The Taste of Pine Hills was founded in 2015 by the Pine Hills Neighborhood Improvement District as a community-centered initiative celebrating the culture, diversity, businesses, and people that make Pine Hills unique.
The inaugural event was held on November 14, 2015 at Barnett Park Pavilion 1 and brought together food, live entertainment, health and wellness resources, youth activities, local organizations, and community members under the theme “Taste the Diversity of Pine Hills.”
The event later transitioned to the United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc. in conjunction with community partners and continued to grow into a larger celebration of community pride, engagement, culture, youth, and economic visibility.
