VISION:

To Empower Alumni One Program at a Time.

OUR HISTORY

The UFCF Future Leaders United After-School Enrichment and Mentoring Program Alumni Association aka UFCF FLU Alumni Association was founded in 2019 as a support system to our scholars’ post-high school. UFCF FLU Alumni Association encourages our alumni to stay in touch with the school and each other through special events and social media.

When the seeds were planted for FLU in 2016, it was the beginning of a movement that would change the landscape of Central Florida education. Over the years, FLU has born fruit worthy of the efforts of its founders and its most prized gift to the world – its alumni.

Nearly 5 years after the founding of the foundation, a group of graduates met to organize an alumni board. They adopted a constitution, officers were elected and the Future Leaders United Alumni Association was born.

Our Alumni network is vast and spread throughout our nation with that said, FLU alumni have attended the following schools after their time in our programs: but not limited to, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, Bethune Cookman University, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), Florida State University (FSU), Rollins College, Valencia College, University of North Florida, University of Virgin Islands, University of Central Florida, University of South Florida, Grand Canton University namely.

What Our Alumni Are Doing!

Currently, the Association connects FLU Alumni worldwide who gather together through community service projects, networking opportunities, and leisure activities. The Association also assists with the Future Leaders United Program. Our alumni are interacting with current FLU board members providing direct mentorship and leadership development. In addition to this, they’re serving in educational mentorship capacities with students from Ridgewood Park Elementary, Robinswood Middle School, Meadowbrook Middle school, and Evans High School.

KEEPING UP WITH ALUMNI

Our Facebook and Instagram page is a place for alumni to keep informed about school activities and reconnect with former classmates. Graduate accomplishments and profiles, as well as reunions and events that honor our graduates, are regularly updated on Facebook.

Keep in touch and email us if you have news about one of our graduates. Future Leaders United prides itself in its preparation of our students as they transition on to the next step on their educational path and or life beyond high school. Our graduates move on to be successful students, with a majority attending prestigious colleges and universities, others serving the country in the military, or seeking further training in their respective trades.
