Welcome to the United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc.
United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc., (UFCF) is a 501(c)(3) public foundation focused on early intervention, leading to prevention. UFCF’s Board of Directors answered the Pine Hills communities concerns to provide proven solutions to concerns that negatively affected the community, by researching programs that work to clean up communities. The Harris Rosen Tangelo Park Program is one of the most successful to date. It was a natural choice for the foundation to duplicate, with a mission to partner and unite with local community and neighborhood organizations, to positively transform families and individuals, utilizing early intervention and educational resources. The results of the Tangelo Park Program left Tangelo Park residents with job creation (a decrease in unemployment), a graduation rate increase from 20% to 100%, crime reduction and increase in family unity.

We celebrate our 28 student scholars heading to college in the fall, the foundation pledged $17,000 in scholarships and awarded a total of $17,700. This totals the foundations scholarship contributions to Maynard Evans High School to $50,000. To read more please click on this article.

PINE HILLS, Fla. - Evans High School graduate Julien Serrano-O'Neil, 19, told News 6 he hopes his story of triumph and hardship will motivate and inspire other homeless and troubled youth that they can do whatever they put their minds to.
UCF has been helping to build a new model of community school for children in grades K-12 for nearly 10 years. As a result, there are 16 registered Community Partnership Schools in Florida. Of those 16, Evans High School in Orlando recently became the first to be a UCF-Certified Community Partnership School.
Kedrine Gayle, 18, moved to Orlando from Jamaica in 2016 and graduated Evans High School. She said the move was a fresh start for her and credits the school, mentors and community groups for her success.
Kena Francois, 18, Future Leaders United Alumnae completed high school in May of 2018 and now attends Seminole State College. She said her goal is to eventually attend medical school and some day become a psychiatrist.

Alumni Spotlight- Daftne Sanchez, Class of 2018 attending the University of Central Florida majoring in Legal Studies. Throughout this academic year Daftne has become a Duly Certified Volunteer Advocate for Children (VAC) by the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Secretary for the University of Central Florida’s Knights for Social Justice, Community Service Chair for the newly chartered Dominican Student Association, and Education and Juvenile Justice Chair for the UCF NAACP.
Alumni Spotlight- John Edouard, Class of 2019 attending Valencia College in the fall majoring in Business Administration. John is also the 2019 recipient of the Pine Hills Community Council, Inc. Tulie Phillips Scholars.

Alumni Spotlight - Veronica Bien-Aime - Class of 2019 will be attending Orange Technical College in the Fall to participate in the Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
Alumni Spotlight - Woomy Michel - Class of 2018 attending Clark Atlanta University and serves as a Research Intern at Northeastern University majoring in Mathematics and double minoring in Computer Science and French. Woomy is a LSAMP Research Scholar and did research her first semester on Inscribed Polygonal Functions.
