WeAreFLU Initiative
The WeAreFLU campaign is a student-run campaign that serves to inspire prospective students, current students, potential donors, and alumni through recognizing the profound achievement of students who have yet to graduate and our graduates.
The campaign is largely inspired by the WeAreMorehouse campaign that was launched in Fall 2017. We believe the WeAreMorehouse initiative was extraordinarily successful, however, it focused on a target group that would overlook the successful contributions made by current students and recent alums of the past five years.
To rectify this issue we have sought to highlight the successes of students by creating a platform that would provide a comprehensive overview of their achievements since their enrollment. Be that as it may, WeAreFLU seeks to fill the gap of both current students and alumni engagement.
WeAreFLU spotlights for current students and alumni can include independent projects, internship offers, research program acceptances, graduate school acceptances, job offers, fellowship acceptances, scholarships, domestic exchange, academic/social Greek organization inductions, athletic achievement, professional programs, competitions, presentations, publications, or other instances of achievement not mentioned.
